World Cancer Research Day 2019

24 September is World Cancer Research Day, an event to raise awareness of the importance of cancer research and to highlight the extraordinary contributions of cancer researchers. IARC, the specialized cancer agency of the World Health Organization, would like to mark this event by introducing you to some of our scientists and presenting some of the subjects they are studying to reduce the worldwide burden of cancer.
